These Signature stainless steel swivel shafts are machined out of a solid stock of 17-4 stainless. They are then heat treated to the optimum hardness. The advantage of using our high performance hinge pin over the stock one is clear cut. You can expect a longer life from your seals, transom shield and gimbal ring Replaces (OEM # 98230A1)
